The school environment can be a significant source of stress among children and adolescents, in some cases leading to the development of burnout symptoms. The aspects related to academic burnout in this population are insufficiently studied, especially in Romania, but also in other countries in Europe.
The REThink Burnout project aims to investigate the factors that influence the development of academic burnout, particularly the role of attachment and emotional regulation. This project is implemented in two university centers, both in Romania and in France, in collaboration with the University of Lille Nord de France, under the coordination of Dr. Marie Danet, from the laboratory of PSYTEC.
